- ZA Tips! is published on a weekly basis.
- ZA Tips! contains a limited number of ads per issue and only one advertiser per industry ... assuring you of a uncrowded, non-competitive space in which to present your message.
- Your ad in ZA Tips! links directly to your website — an invaluable aid in increasing your search engine ranking.
- Your advert will appear in the newsletter that gets emailed to our entire database, alongside ZA Tips! articles on our website for a week and will remain in the archived copy of that newsletter indefinitely, at no additional cost.
- We charge a very reasonable fixed price per database contact and per ad size. This means that you get charged only for the actual number of newsletters emailed.
- Advertisers are invoiced in advance, per month, based on the number of actual subscribers on our database at the beginning of that month. Any new subscribers joining our constantly increasing database during the month will not affect your rate.
- Invoices are payable in advance and before publication of the issue in which the ad-space was booked.
- You may change your ad as often as you like, as long as we are supplied with ready-to-use material, sized as per your contract* and supplied in electronic format as an .EPS file or as an optimized .gif or .jpg file, not exceeding 200 kb.
* Request a quotation, below, if you would like ZA Marketing to either write, design or create your ad in accordance with the technical requirements.
Ad sizes, costings and examples
Note that sizes are for design purposes and may render differently on screen and when printed out and reduced to A4.
Square banner ad
188 pixels (across) x 181 pixels (down). That is 66.32 x 63.85 mm @ 72 pixels / inch.
Example:
5 cents per contact on our database. This translates into:
R250 per issue per 5 000 subscribers
R500 per issue per 10 000 subscribers, and so on.
Vertical banner ad
188 pixels (across) x 362 pixels (down). That is 66.32 x 127.71mm @ 72 pixels / inch.
Example:
10 cents per contact on our database. This translates into:
R500 per issue per 5 000 subscribers
R1 000 per issue per 10 000 subscribers, and so on.
Horizontal banner ad
496 pixels (across) x 181 pixels (down). That is 174.98 x 63.85 mm @ 72 pixels / inch.
Example:
14 cents per contact on our database. This translates into:
R700 per issue per 5 000 subscribers
R1 400 per issue per 10 000 subscribers, etc.
Contract discounts:
(This is regardless of whether the month in question has four or five weeks.)
- One month: 2.5% off
- Two months: 5% off
- Three months: 10% off
- Four months: 15% off
- Five months: 20% off
- Six months: 25% off
- Sponsor ads: Available only for horizontal ads on a 12 month contract: 35% off, payable monthly in advance.
Link exchange
Request a link exchange on any particular ZA web-page/s. Your link will appear as a stand-alone text ad (similar to Google adwords) in a left or right-hand column on our site. Maximum number of characters 150.
Cost: Free, except for a reciprocal size and number of linked ads for ZA on your site.
